A workshop course was held with the students of the Painting Department under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Osman Altıntaş and Research Assistant Hatice Aybilge Çopuroğlu, within the scope of the olive harvest taking place in the olive groves located on the Osmaniye Korkut Ata University campus.
Within the scope of the event, students continued their painting studies using different techniques while observing olive trees, olive landscapes, and the surrounding environment in a natural setting. This hands-on course contributed to the development of students’ ability to draw inspiration from nature and provided them with the experience of creating art in an open-air environment.
Held simultaneously with the olive harvest process, the event allowed students to strengthen their connection with nature, enrich their artistic production, and enhance their observational skills.
