Course Objective:

The aim of this course is to enable students to understand the methods used in scientific research, the stages of the research process, and the ethical principles that must be observed during research.
It also aims to ensure that students can examine and analyze both theoretical frameworks and previously conducted studies, and develop the ability to prepare a research report or article on an identified problem in the field of art by employing one or more scientific research methods.

Course Content:

This course covers the concepts of science and philosophy of science, the processes and methods of scientific research, data collection and data analysis techniques, as well as the concept of ethics and ethical violations in scientific research.
Additionally, it includes practical work aimed at preparing a scientific article or research proposal on a selected research topic relevant to the field.

Course Objective:

To develop visual perception and modes of seeing by focusing on the concept of the object within the field of plastic arts, and to foster the individual’s creative growth and development in artistic domains.

Course Content:

Students are expected to synthesize the knowledge and experience gained during their undergraduate studies and to construct their own visual world through a unique artistic language, achieving a higher level of competence in this process.
Through projects based on individual themes, students are encouraged to refine and mature their personal tendencies and preferences by engaging with critical discussions and reference studies that support the development of originality and artistic proficiency.

Course Objective:

To define the aesthetic dimension of the artwork; to explore and examine the conditions and processes that bring the artwork into existence; and to reach an understanding of the artwork’s intrinsic reality.

Course Content:

This course examines the relationship between beauty in art and human sensitivity, as well as its impact on the human spirit.
It also focuses on the study and analysis of various theories of artwork interpretation.

Course Objective:

To help students comprehend the concept of art, the role of material in the creation of art, and the development and examples of post-conceptual art.

Course Content:

This course covers the concept of art, conceptual art, 20th-century art movements, and art manifestos.

Course Objective:
To provide knowledge about legal rights and responsibilities during the process of presenting an artistic work to the public. The course aims to help students understand the historical and philosophical foundations of the concept of rights, to teach the reasons and methods for protecting rights arising from creativity and invention, and to examine traditional and contemporary theories related to the development of intellectual property rights. Students also learn about the qualitative characteristics of intellectual and artistic works.

Course Content:
The concept of copyright; the relationship between art and copyright; key definitions in the field of fine arts; copyright practices in Turkey; and anti-piracy measures.
