| What is TREX? | TREX is a comprehensive English language assessment administered to measure students’ overall language development throughout the semester. It forms part of the official assessment system of the English Preparatory Program. |
| How often is it administered? | TREX is administered twice during each academic year, at the end of the fall and spring semesters, allowing student progress to be monitored regularly. |
| Who can take it? | All students enrolled in the Compulsory English Preparatory Program (CEPP) and the Voluntary English Preparatory Program (VEPP) are required to take the TREX examination as part of the academic assessment process. |
| Purpose of the Exam | The purpose of TREX is to measure students’ progress in English language skills throughout the semester. The exam contributes significantly to students’ Yearly Achievement Grade (YAG). |
| Exam Content | The exam consists of GRV (Grammar, Reading, Vocabulary), Listening, and Writing sections. All sections are based on the language skills and content covered during the semester. |
