Preparatory Program Assessment & Evaluation

Yıl İçi Toplam Başarı Notu (YİTBN) / Yearly Achievement Grade (YAG)

Öğrencilerin akademik yıl içinde yapmış oldukları ödevler, çalışmalar ve sınavlardan aldıkları notlar Yıl İçi Toplam Başarı Notunu (YİTBN) belirler. YİTBN 100 puan üzerinden hesaplanır. YİTBN’ye etki eden bileşenler ve ilgili yüzdelikler aşağıdaki tabloda gösterilmiştir.

YİTBN aşağıdaki durumları belirlemek için kullanılır:

  • İsteğe Bağlı İngilizce Hazırlık Programındaki öğrencilerin başarılı sayılıp sayılmayacağını,
  • Zorunlu İngilizce Hazırlık Programındaki öğrencilerin İngilizce Yeterlilik Sınavı’na (İYS/EPEX) girme hakkı kazanıp kazanmadığını,
  • Zorunlu İngilizce Hazırlık Programındaki öğrencilerin İYS/EPEX’e girmeden programdan muaf olup olamayacağını.

The Yearly Achievement Grade (YAG) is determined by the scores students receive from assignments, coursework, and exams conducted throughout the academic year. The YAG is calculated on a 100-point scale. The components that contribute to the YAG and their respective weightings are shown in the table below.

The YAG is used to determine:

  • Whether students in the Voluntary English Preparatory Program are considered successful or not,
  • Whether students in the Compulsory English Preparatory Program are eligible to take the English Proficiency Exam (EPEX),
  • Whether students in the Compulsory English Preparatory Program can be exempted from the program without taking the EPEX.

Yıl Sonu Toplam Başarı Notu (YSTBN) / Yearly Total Grade (YTG)

Yıl Sonu Toplam Başarı Notu (YSTBN), Zorunlu İngilizce Hazırlık Programında İngilizce Yeterlilik Sınavı’na (İYS/EPEX) girme hakkını elde eden öğrencilerin Hazırlık Programını başarı ile tamamlayıp tamamlamadığını belirlemek için kullanılır. YSTBN 100 puan üzerinden hesaplanır. YSTBN’ye etki eden bileşenler ve ilgili yüzdelikler aşağıdaki tabloda gösterilmiştir.

The Yearly Total Grade (YTG) is used to determine whether students in the Compulsory English Preparatory Program who have earned the right to take the English Proficiency Exam (EPEX) have successfully completed the Preparatory Program. The YTG is calculated on a 100-point scale. The contributing components and their percentages are listed below.

Aşağıdaki tablo, İsteğe Bağlı ve Zorunlu İngilizce Hazırlık Programlarında öğrencilerin başarılı sayılabilmesi için YİTBN ve YSTBN ölçütlerine göre elde etmesi gereken asgari puanları ve bu puanlara bağlı sonuçları göstermektedir.
