The aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge and skills about the family counseling process and its steps, conducting the first meeting with the client, planning the counseling process, difficulties encountered in the counseling process, establishing an effective counseling relationship and basic psychological counseling skills. Within the scope of the course, topics such as managing sessions in the family counseling process, using psychological counseling skills, case formulation, goal setting, strategy setting and intervention selection, termination and monitoring are covered.
