OUR MISSION

The mission of the Department of Computer Engineering is to educate innovative, research-oriented and entrepreneurial engineers with solid theoretical and practical knowledge in fields such as information technology, software, hardware, artificial intelligence, data science, cyber security and embedded systems. The Department aims to develop its students' problem-solving, analytical thinking, system design, and effective technology utilisation skills while fostering individuals who are sensitive to ethical values, the environment, and society, and who possess a high sense of responsibility. Furthermore, it aims to contribute to national development and global competitiveness by providing students with application-oriented experience through industry collaborations and project-based learning methods.

OUR VISION

The Department of Computer Engineering has set itself the vision of being a department that pioneers technological advances and produces innovative solutions in artificial intelligence and information technologies through its research, development and innovation (R&D and innovation) activities. The department aims to be a respected academic centre that contributes to a sustainable digital future through academic and industrial collaborations, and trains leading engineers who are recognised nationally and internationally.
