Within the scope of Osmaniye Korkut Ata University’s 2025–2026 Academic Year Fall Semester Orientation Program, the Coordination Office for Combating Addiction and Active Living organized an event titled “Addiction Awareness Training.”
The training took place on October 9, 2025, at 2:30 PM in the July 15 Martyrs Amphitheater, where Psychologist and Addiction Counselor Sultan Sağır provided informative sessions to the students of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts.
During the training, participants received information on the definition of addiction, risk factors leading to addiction, types of substance, technology, and behavioral addictions, as well as the importance of individual and social awareness in combating addiction. Additionally, students’ questions were addressed, creating an interactive and awareness-based learning environment.
At the end of the program, a certificate of appreciation was presented to Psychologist and Addiction Counselor Sultan Sağır by our University.
