Osmaniye Korkut Ata University Secures Significant Funding in 2025 Erasmus+ KA171 Projects

Osmaniye Korkut Ata University (OKU) has achieved a significant success in line with its internationalisation goals. With the substantial contributions of the International Relations Office and the relevant academic units, the university has been awarded a total grant of 67,778.00 Euros for its 2025 Erasmus+ Key Action 1 (KA171) projects, which will be carried out with eight different countries.

The Erasmus+ KA171 programme, implemented by the Turkish National Agency, aims to enhance the capacity and international dimension of higher education institutions, offering students and staff the opportunity to gain experience on a global scale. For the 2025 term, the evaluation process for project proposals has been completed. A total of 146 project proposals were submitted, each reviewed by at least two external evaluators and assessed in detail.

According to the evaluation results, OKU has achieved remarkable success with its accepted projects, once again demonstrating its strong commitment to its internationalisation policy. The approved projects span a wide geographical range, from Asia to Africa, and from the Western Balkans to Eastern Partnership countries. These projects will provide OKU students and staff with opportunities to discover different cultures, improve their foreign language skills, and build an international network.

With this achievement, Osmaniye Korkut Ata University aims to enhance its international recognition, strengthen academic cooperation at the global level, create a multicultural environment within the university through the participation of students and academics from different continents, and promote the spirit of Erasmus+.

It was stated that details such as the project mobility schedule, quotas, and application procedures will be finalised and announced to the public following the signing of the final agreement with the Turkish National Agency.
