Our university organized an “Addiction Prevention Training” program as part of the 2025-2026 Academic Year Fall Semester Orientation Program, conducted by the Addiction Prevention and Active Living Coordination Office.
The training program, held on October 9, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. in the 15 July Martyrs Amphitheater, was delivered to students of the Faculty of Architecture, Design, and Fine Arts by Psychologist and Addiction Counselor Sultan Sağır. Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department students and relevant faculty members participated in the addiction prevention training.
The training covered the definition of addiction, risk factors leading to addiction, types of substance, technology, and behavioral addictions, and the importance of individual and social awareness in combating addiction. In addition, students' questions were answered, creating an awareness-based interactive environment.
At the end of the program, our university presented a certificate of appreciation to Psychologist and Addiction Counselor Sultan Sağır.
