The increasing urbanization efforts of Osmaniye and its environs have made the establishment of the Civil Engineering Department of the basic engineering departments considering the rapid construction in our region and the wide range of working opportunities. All kinds of issues related to production; The training and research on the planning, design, construction and supervision of buildings, dams, airports, bridges, roads, harbors, etc. are among the fields of study of the Civil Engineering Department. With the Civil Engineering Department, it will be ensured that the engineers and scientists who are qualified enough to meet the needs of public institutions and organizations and all kinds of buildings needed by private and legal persons will be fully, accurately, timely, timely and economically.

The proposal for the opening of the Civil Engineering Department within the Faculty of Engineering was submitted to the Council of Higher Education and the Department of Civil Engineering was opened within the Faculty of Engineering with the letter dated 05.07.2009 and numbered 020350 of the Higher Education Council.
