Academic Advising

Every student enrolled in the university has an academic advisor from their first year. This instructor is the first person that students consult about all kinds of academic issues. Consultant; It guides the student to plan the curriculum in accordance with the requirements of the curriculum and academic processes, and to choose elective courses in the fields of interest. In academic semester registrations, it evaluates the course schedule prepared by the student by taking into account his academic performance, approves it if appropriate, or makes it suitable for approval by asking him to make the necessary corrections. During the add, drop, and withdrawal periods, it evaluates the student's requests regarding the course schedule and approves them if it deems appropriate. The registration process does not conclude without the approval of the advisor. It is important that the advisor is accessible during the registration, course add and drop periods in order not to disrupt the process.

In addition, he informs his students about the academic and professional experiences provided by his university education and field of expertise, and shares his ideas by guiding them. Monitors the academic performance of its students; guides them in their academic, social and cultural studies; It helps them adapt to higher education life and plan their careers. It supports the psycho-social development of students, helps to solve the problems they may encounter and directs them to the support units they need when necessary, guides students professionally and contributes to their acquisition of lifelong learning habits.
