Mission and Vision

OUR MISSION

The mission of Osmaniye Korkut Ata University, Department of Physics; in line with the principles of scientific accuracy, academic excellence and social responsibility, is to produce, disseminate universal knowledge in the field of physics and to transform this knowledge into the benefit of society. With a student-oriented approach, it aims to educate innovative and sharing individuals who encourage critical thinking, support scientific curiosity, depend on ethical values. Our department has adopted the principle of serving the information society with the principle of qualified education and education activities carried out at the undergraduate and graduate level, scientific research carried out at national and international level and continuous development.

OUR VISION

The vision of Osmaniye Korkut Ata University, Department of Physics; to be an academic unit that pioneers the scientific and technological developments of the age, open to interdisciplinary collaborations, is recognized and preferred at a global level. As an intellectual center of attraction center that focuses on scientific production, it aims to educate individuals who blend academic tradition with modern approaches and are committed to democratic and ethical values. Our educational programs support students' analytical thinking, problem solving and developing unique ideas, while aiming to prepare them as individuals equipped with both academic life and social life.
