Esteemed Academics, and Visitors, On behalf of the Department of Physics at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Osmaniye Korkut Ata University, I extend my warmest greetings and regards. Physics is an indispensable branch of science that enables us to understand the fundamental laws of nature and lies at the heart of technological advancement. Our department was established with the mission of transmitting the power of this universal science to younger generations and equipping them with both scientific knowledge and ethical values. Our educational activities are designed to help students gain not only theoretical knowledge but also strong practical skills. Through our undergraduate and graduate programs, we aim to instill a culture of scientific research in our students, while enhancing their abilities in analytical thinking and problem solving. Our faculty members are actively engaged in national and international projects and conduct current research in various fields such as nuclear physics, solid-state physics, optics, quantum mechanics, and computational physics.
