What is a Student Loan?

It is a loan given to Turkish citizens in higher education to support them financially and to facilitate their social and cultural development during the normal education period of their higher education institutions, with no compulsory service obligation.

The student loan debt is determined by adding the amount calculated by applying the increases in the Turkey Statistical Institute Domestic Producer Price Index to the amounts given to the student during their normal education period.
