Dear Students;

Many of you have had to leave your families and hometowns for the first time to pursue your university education. Although you may feel sad about this, it is now time to stand on your own two feet and chart your course for the future. On this honorable path you have embarked upon, although we may not be able to be there for you as much as your family, as the Department Chair, we will always be there for you as a mother, a father, a sibling, and a friend when needed.

Throughout your education, we will do our utmost to ensure that you become highly competent in your field, develop further socially and culturally, express yourselves comfortably in public, and graduate as biologists who are committed to Atatürk's principles and reforms and who act in the light of science.

Our only request is that you focus on your education and develop yourselves into young people your families can be proud of. Welcome to our department, everyone.

Dear Parents,

Perhaps many of you are separated from your children for the first time. But do not worry, as the Department Chair, we will do our utmost to ensure that they do not miss you as much as you miss them. When your children graduate and return to you, you will see that they have become qualified biologists in the field of biology, but also that they have gained further social and cultural skills, that they are committed to Atatürk's principles and reforms, and that they are young people who progress in the light of science.

Our wish is that you continue to provide them with the material and, most importantly, the emotional support you have given them since the moment they were born. Rest assured that we, as the Department Chair, will do our best to take care of the rest.

May university education be beneficial to you and your children.
