Bu dersin amacı sosyoloji alanındaki temel kavram ve kuramları tanımak, sosyolojinin kurucularının ve geliştirdikleri perspektifleri öğrenmek, sosyolojik araştırmanın nasıl yapıldığını öğrenmek ve toplumsal durum ve olaylara ilişkin sistematik bir düşünme yöntemi kazanmaktır. 3.	Bu dersin amacı, hukukun genel teorisi içinde yer alan ve hukuki değer taşıyan kavram ve konuları öğrencilere genel bir hukuk bilgisi temelinde vermektir. Bu ders kapsamında, hukukun toplumdaki fonksiyonu, hukukun kaynakları, hukukun ortaya çıkışı, işlevi, düzenleyici karakteri, hukukun meşruluğu, sosyal düzen kavramı, hukuk kurallarının din, örf ve adet, ahlak kuralları ile karşılaştırması incelenen başlıca kavram ve konulardır. Öğrenci bu dersin sonunda, hukukun toplumdaki fonksiyonu, hukukun kaynakları, hukukun ortaya çıkışı, işlevi, düzenleyici karakteri, hukukun meşruluğu, sosyal düzen kavramı, hukuk kurallarının din, örf ve adet, ahlak kuralları ile karşılaştırmasını yapabilecektir.

4.	Bu dersin amacı öğrencilere psikolojinin temel kavram ve terminolojisi, psikoloji biliminin kapsam ve içeriği hakkında bilgi kazandırmaktır. Bu dersi aldıktan sonra öğrencinin psikoloji alanının alt dallarına ait genel bir bakış açısı kazanması hedeflenmektedir. Psikoloji biliminin içeriği, temel konuları ve kavramları ile alt dallarının tanıtılması, insan davranışının ele alınmasında bilimsel ve tarafsız bir tutum kazandırılması hedeflenmektedir. Bu amaçlar doğrultusunda geleneksel ve modern akımlar, sinir sistemi, duyumlar ve algı, uyku ve rüya, şartlanma, bilişsel yaklaşımlar, hafıza, zekâ, dil ve düşünce, motivasyon, duygular, bebeklik ve çocukluk, ergenlik ve erişkinlik, stres, anormal psikoloji, terapiler, sosyal psikoloji gibi konulara yer verilecektir.

2.	Bu ders kapsamında Türkiye'nin toplumsal yapısının genel hatları, özellikleri ve gelişimi incelenmektedir. İlk olarak Türkiye'nin Osmanlı dönemindeki toplumsal yapısı ve sonrasında Türk modernleşmesi ve toplumsal alanda yapılan Atatürk İnkilapları ve topluma olan etkileri incelenmektedir. Osmanlı’dan Türkiye Cumhuriyeti dönemine uzanan toplumsal yapı sosyal ve kültürel değişim, ekonomi, aile, politika, eğitim, nüfus, yoksulluk gibi konular bağlamında ele alınacaktır.

3.	Bu dersin amacı sosyal psikolojinin başlıca amaçlarını, temel kavramlarını ve ilkelerini tanıtmak; sosyal psikolojinin mantığı ve yöntemleri konusunda bilgiler sunmak; insan etkileşimi, grup yapısının özellikleri, tutumlar, değerler, sosyal uyma, algı, benlik ve sosyalleşme gibi temel kavramlar hakkında bilgi sunmaktır. Ders kapsamında sosyal etki, sosyal psikolojide araştırma yöntemleri, sosyal biliş, tutumlar, uyma, grup süreçleri, toplum yanlısı davranışlar, saldırganlık, önyargı, uygulama alanları konuları ele alınacaktır. Ayrıca ders kapsamında, sosyal psikolojinin temel yaklaşımları ve yöntemleri hakkında bilgi aktarılacaktır. 4.	Sosyal Hizmet Ortamlarında İnceleme dersi kapsamında dönem içerisinde çeşitli kamu ve sivil toplum kuruluşlarına tanıtım gezileri yapılacak veya ilgili kuruluşlardan personeller öğrencilerimize seminer şeklinde bilgilendirmeler yapacaktır. Öğrencilerin bu ziyaretlere ilişkin değerlendirme raporu yazmaları ve okuldaki ders saatlerinde gözlemlerini paylaşmaları istenir.

1.	Bu dersin amacı, insan davranışı ve gelişimini doğum öncesi dönemden ergenlik döneminin sonuna kadar incelemektir. Bebeklik, çocukluk ve ergenlik dönemindeki gelişimsel görevlere; bu dönemler ile ilgili biyolojik, psikolojik, sosyal ve kültürel teorilere değinilir. Öğrenciler, sosyal çevrenin insan gelişimi ve davranışı üzerindeki etkilerini öğrenirler. Sosyal hizmet mesleğinin misyonu doğrultusunda, dezavantajlı ve riskli gruplardaki bireylerin yaşamlarının değişik fazlarında doğrudan ya da dolaylı olarak karşılaştıkları ayrımcılık ve baskı gibi deneyimlerden söz edilir; ırk, etnik köken, sosyal sınıf, cinsiyet, din gibi unsurların davranış ve gelişim üzerindeki etkileri işlenir. Ders sonunda öğrenciler; ekolojik yaklaşım, risk ve koruyucu faktörler yaklaşımı gibi temel yaklaşımları sosyal hizmet uygulamalarında kullanabilecek yeterliliği kazanırlar. Bu dersi başarıyla tamamlayan öğrenciler sosyal hizmet değerlendirmesi ve müdahalesi için gerekli kuramsal altyapıyı edinir.

2.	Türk kamu yönetiminin örgütlenmesine ve işleyişine hakim olan temel özellikleri öğrenmek ve Türk kamu yönetiminin reformuna yönelik gelişmeleri değerlendirmek dersin temel amaçlarıdır. The course content covers the basic concepts and theories of sociology, the views and methods of sociology's pioneers and founders, the social changes that emerged in the globalization process, social class, status and social mobility, risk society, consumption society, network society, surveillance society and social control mechanisms.

	The aim of this course is to teach the students the concepts and subjects that are included in the general theory of law and have legal value, on the basis of a general knowledge of law. 	The aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge about the basic concepts and terminology of psychology, and an overview of the scope and content of psychology. After taking this course, it is aimed for the student to gain a general perspective on the sub-branches of psychology. It is aimed to introduce the content, basic subjects and concepts and sub-branches of psychology and to gain a scientific and objective viewpoint on human behavior. For these purposes, topics such as classical and modern approaches, nervous system, sensations and perception, sleep and dream, conditioning, cognitive approaches, memory, intelligence, language and thought, motivation, emotions, infancy and childhood, adolescence and adulthood, stress, abnormal psychology and social psychology will be covered.

	The aim of this course is to provide students with basic English reading, listening, speaking and writing skills. In this context, in line with the topics covered in the course, it is aimed to provide students with the necessary skills to express themselves verbally and in writing in the elementary level in English. 	The aim of the course is for students to learn the necessary information about addiction within the framework of teamwork; to develop the necessary professional knowledge and skills in order to develop interventions at micro, meso and macro levels in the field of addiction. Within the scope of the course, the issues such as definitions, risk factors and consequences of addiction, professional practices in different addiction areas, working with children and young people who use and addicted to addictive substances, protection and prevention studies, treatment and rehabilitation studies, stages of the problem solving process and applications, national policy and strategies on the field will be discussed. Students who successfully complete this course will learn the general concepts and theories related to addiction and will have information about the social work practice in this field.

	This course aims to provide students with a conceptual and theoretical framework on the phenomenon of migration. The course will cover issues such as policies on immigration in Turkey and in the world, possible problems experienced by immigrants in the society they live in, immigrant integration, the historical background of immigration from Turkey, immigration movements towards Turkey, the relationship between immigration and gender, immigrants experiences and examples in the context of organizations working with asylum seekers in Turkey, and migration in terms of social work. Students who successfully complete this course will learn the basic concepts of migration and will have knowledge about social work practices in this field by understanding the relationship between migration and social work.

Students who successfully complete the course will have the outputs of writing semi-academic homework in English, making presentations in English, and obtaining information about social work practices abroad.

	The aim of this course is to teach the alphabet, basic vocabulary and grammatical structures of Turkish Sign Language and to enable the students who take the course to communicate with the hearing impaired through this language. In this course, the student gets general information about Turkish Sign Language. He learns the alphabet, basic sentence structures, yes-no questions, negative sentences, questions related to time and time, numbers, question words, and words such as colors, emotions, food-drinks and clothing, and practices plenty of examples in the classroom. The student learns basic sign language and how to communicate with the hearing impaired by translating in this language.

	In this course, students will prepare and present the cases that they have encountered in the micro/mezzo/macro fields of social work and/or have worked on during the implementation process; to analyze and synthesize cases; It is aimed to develop a professional perspective on social work intervention by discussing their theoretical and practical knowledge with each other. Within the scope of the course, cases related to a wide range of application areas of social work will be discussed in all aspects and the students' ability to handle case and develop an intervention plan will be enhanced.

	The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge about industrial social work. Within the scope of the course; the issues such as definition and origin of industrial social work, role and skills of social work in work environments, role of social worker in the development of occupational health and safety, use of social work skills in human resources management, job loss and social work, role and function of social worker in unions and future of industrial social work will be discussed. At the end of this course, the student will have information about the problems of the industrial revolution in working life and what industrial social work is.

	The course focuses on homeless people living on the street, addicts, youth and children, and social work interventions.
